Catasia is a gentle blending of two distinct styles. Both John Lucy and Elda Dellinger have singles acts. Elda's commercial music is mellow and smooth geared toward the dinner club venue. John has a combination from Elton John to down and dirty blues. Between them they know over a thousand commercial songs. Their original music ranges from soothing light jazz/blues to almost madrical. Then add the fact that each musician plays more than one instrument, creates a musical duo with extensive talent and variety.

John Lucy

From hard driving blues to mellow rock, John has a flair for entertainment. Throughout his 20 years of professional performances he has developed his own original style which has pleased and amazed audiences all over the state of Colorado. He opened as a pre-show act for Commander Cody and Taj Mahal, and played harmonica with well known James Taylor and Gene Harris. He began playing harmonica at the age of 7 and learned piano at the age of 18. He started his professional career at the age of 25. His resonant baritone voice enables him to sing anything from gruff rock –n- roll to the Star Spangled Banner. John is truly a passionate entertainer and a pleasure to enjoy.

Elda Dellinger

Elda’s unique professionally trained voice, has captivated audiences for 30 years. Her first vocal performance occurred at the age of 4 and by the age of 8 had been chosen to sing with a traveling youth choir. Her semi-professional career began at the age of 15. In her 20’s to early 30’s she traveled nation wide as a professional bass player and back-up singer. Elda has performed pre-show for Little Richard and played venues as large as 80,000 people. Her classically trained Guitar and Flute back-round, enables her to perform many different styles of music, ranging from jazz, country, to hard rock. Multi-talented, her heart and soul goes into her music. Her passion is performing to audiences of all sizes. Please enjoy.
